Counting down the days...

I am counting down the days until I can relax for once. That will be in 5 days(Thursday)...until then I have to(red due in next 5ish days)(blue due at end of quarter):

Updates:

The last post was when my mom came into town...well she left and did plenty of things in my grandmother's house. It is slowly getting barren which is a sad feeling that grandmommy is living in a hospital looking house...i mean not yet, but it is getting close.

This past weekend was my 22nd B-day which was fun and i just remember taking it easy. My birthday was on Saturday but i celebrated on Friday and Saturday. Friday i went to a pottery sale and then headed up to Columbus with Brandi. We shopped and had a good time. We did a few things and then eat at the cheesecake factory. I bought a dress(picture below-the dress is periwinkle or a blue with a little lavenderpurple) and a top(pictured below). unfortunately i am going to have to get another zipper put into the dress but it is worth it. i like it, hopefully it will be ready for papa's 90th B-day celebration.


on the school front...it is going okay, but in the next few weeks it will be a busy time until the three day weekend starting the 25 of may. well i am going to go and do some more stuff rather being distracted with the blog. i just felt bad that i haven't blogged in awhile...on a side note i still have 2 halves of my freebirds...i am going to need one at the end of the quarter...that is the present for myself :)

OOh MY...i am in heaven

SOooo....i am in weight watchers and the book went out the window across the street and three countries over this weekend...but it was sooooo goooooood....

on friday i had cheesecake...mmm mmmm

and today i had half on one of my freebird burrito(i have two monsters)....ohhh my....if i wasn't stuff i would have another one....but it was good....

thanks to my dad going and buying them and my mom bring it with her in her luggage....

okay got to go and do some work.

one more extra day

my mom was suppose to come today, but storms prevented her. now she is is coming in tomorrow, which is good but a downer that she isn't here today.

on the other hand, i have stuff to do, that will take awhile to do and i just want to do everything but. i mean i am doing it, but i just don't want to.

doesn't look like a lot...but the writing samples took me with one paper 3-4 hours and that was just the first draft.

the para escribir is in espanol, which makes it harder...i have to answer lots of questions...fun...not. my guess it will take me 4-5 hours

my spring break...

It was a rough first try, lets just say I made it 30-45minutes away when I had to turn around…for certain reasons nothing major

I had an awful day that day…all I remember is crying to my parents, all day(for two reasons-a class and my learning disability which resulted after the class situation…and eating cupcakes...mmm mmm...and renting movie that make me smile(sky high and flicka)

on my second try to leave athens it was smooth and early...left at 743

it was a nice drive and i took it easy and looked at the beautiful landscaped with the fog coming off the mountain and hovering to where you couldn't see how tall the mountain was...it was beautiful---these were taken at a look out...i needed to stretch my legs

i arrived between 3 and 4pm and i didn't get lost until the end...i was one street off but easily fixable

i entered the security place and received a pass and followed Louis up to the house...it is a mighty fine house...BE-U-TIFUL house and view...about 30 minutes later to and hour i cherry arrived home from work and they(mostly cherry) started cooking...Louis somewhat helped and mostly watch march madness(basketball)...i was laying on the couch and told them if they gave me a blanket i would go to sleep in less than 5 minutes...---front of the house and in the other one the back of the house(the tree line-in between the sky and trees)

two hours later i woke-up from my nap and had some tacos...cherry had passed out on the other couch and louis was still watching basketball.

i had my own floor with three bedrooms, two baths, and one balcony with a beautiful view. i of course choose the room that didn't get the sunlight...it was comfy(the bed) and i just remember sitting on it going YES it is not HARD...WOO-HOO! all i remember is laying down and wa-la morning rolled in...

it was a Saturday and cherry and i decided to go shopping in flat rock which has 4 shops and hendersonville(5 minute drive could be the same town) which is the size of Athens or a little bigger. it was fun, but things were somewhat out of my price range...i enjoyed the no homework aspect of it...i did buy a glass flower(sounds dorky but it is quite pretty)---we had dinner out this night at and inn right by there house, the best part basketball was one (my brother and mom would be proud i sort of got into the basketball games)

on Sunday we decided to drive to triple falls and high falls..it was a nice hike with cherry...it was probably no father then 30 minutes away..on the way there we saw a sign saying pottery so we stopped...it was a very nice women and her dog(cute dog)...i bought a small pot(kind of like an over sized mug without the handle). ---this night we ate fajitas...mmm, mmm---triple falls top and high falls bottom-(high falls was more impressive in sight then in picture- i just like the tree)


on Monday cherry had to work and get up early...so louis and i were up to our own devices...he decided to take me to a casino...the rule was i wasn't allowed to play with my own money(he did want to hear from my dad...like my dad would say anything :) i am 21) we drove to Cherokee, NC, which is about an hour and half away...we saw many daf-a-dills(i don't know how to spell)

we lost...lots of Louis's money about *cough*400 dollars*cough* but it was fun...i think i would go to a casino to watch the weird people...one guy had to hit the button a certain way, another guy had to touch the rainbow repeatedly on the screen...---this night we ate lasagna and salad

on Tuesday was my last day there i took it easy i got breakfast with louis and came back to there house and read my book while he worked...we were waiting for people to come pick,look and do things at there house. after reading my book most of the day i turn on the TV and watch it until cherry came home...we decided that we would go out to eat and try a new place so we went to the steak house, it was yummy salad, fillet mignon, baked potato...yummy

i left at about 8, closer to 9, on Wednesday, no one was home both, cherry and Louis had gone off to do there work...it was a nice time with great people and they made it very relaxing

Spring Break

I will have a post in a couple of days...i just don't feel like typing. I had a wonderful time and did many things... :)

Grandmommy was surprise!

we got her BALLOONS, DAISIES, CAKE WITH CANDLES, HAPPY BIRTHDAY PALM SIZED BUTTON THAT STUCK ON HER JACKET, AND A CARD...the card said something along the lines of "there were many great things that happen in history....*inside* but then you were born and they all seem insignificant"

here is the some of the Helen Grey's Luncheon people(grandmommy eats with them most all Wednesdays)...we arrived at 1 and i think they were ending up. these were the people that stayed for a little while.---grandmommy didn't tell them it was her birthday...shame on her, there is only one day to be really selfish-and it is only on your birthday (basically anything goes)


here is grandmommy, stuffed on food, dessert, and cake...and she is chit-chatting with kim and i...look at the cake it was almost gone

no longer freaking out...hopefully.

she took it off blackboard but hasn't written me back...so right now looking good.

i am working on my conclusion for my other paper and then i am going to read it over and then hand it to kim to edit and then re-edit my self and then i am turning it in....to be continued

i am about to freakin the way OUT!!!!!

OMG!...i am on the verge of losing it...so pardon me for being blut, but i don't know what to do until my prof emails me back. i just check online and my chinese art history exam says 55 out of a 100...i mean i get that i am still passing but WHAT THE FUCK! i didn't think i did that badly. I was confident all through the test and left with a smile on my face and a whoop thats done. i email her and i might be staying longer in the morning if i need to understand what i did wrong....for clarification to everyone.

there was 2 section: each worth 50 points...
first section: identify and discuss
second section: essay

i might be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but when you see that grade what are you suppose to think?!? i think i just age ten years looking at that grade. i am hoping and praying(and i am not religious) that it is just a mis-type or half of my grade or blackboard(information online for the class) is lost its brains....

OMG! i need her to email me back or i am going to go crazy...how if is it my grade? i mean i passed, but that would suck, a lot.

Now i am just waiting and wondering...back to finishing my paper...jeezs

second day of finals

Yesterday i did my spanish final...which was exhausting.

Today i had my Chinese art history...i went to bed at 3AM and woke-up at 7AM. i then studied from 8-10AM and then took my final at 1010AM...lets just say i was confident throughout the whole test and was pleasantly surprise that when looking over my notes later, i remember most all of my information...so go me.

I am hoping for a C or B in spanish for my final which would put me at a low or high B for the final grade.

In the Chinese art history i hoping for a 85 so i can pass with a B. if i get a B it will cover my survey class so i don't have to take it in fall...if i don't get a B it will cover in the another area of my DARS(requirements for college and major).

okay have to go do my paper so i can leave tomorrow. bye.

i have only sat here and i want to throw my hands in the air and sway the white flag...i have a paper to write and chinese art history...unfortunately the chinese might be the first class i fail in college...i just don't have time and i am tired...i guess i will push tonight and push tomorrow, take a break and then surprise grandmommy with a cake for her birthday!

ohh if any of you are wondering why kim is in mostly these, well she is my Study Buddy...and everyone else i don't talk too...sad to say, but that is what it has come to...not friends who one person they all leave...i guess it shows who your real friends are or the really good quality ones :)

Well have written today...lots of writing and still some more to do. I am revising a paper into a much longer and grown-up paper, hopefully. it was a 5.25 double spaced paper and now it is a 7 going to be a 8 double-spaced paper. now it might not seem that much, but i only kept about a 1 to 2 pages of the original paper. go me...okay back to writing. bye.
