Take a position, for example, what is your stance on X such as the war in Iraq, then make dramatic images of your stance [like some one protesting] - it should be something you feel passionately about... poverty, freedom, government, abortion, drugs, alcohol, etc. However, it's hard to capture non-confrontive subjects such as tranquility, peace, rest, contempation, etc. Your park bench is along that latter line of thinking.
I like the little girl being left behind by what looks like her parents and in a world dominated by the winds of many nations. She looks out of place, yearning for someone to help her, to come to her, but she is overpowered and too small.
Just a thought.
