final attempt

me at the crit with my piece (intention was to be hanging in front of window, but it works as a wall hanging)

here is what is looks like in front of the window

Audrey made a dress out of leaves

Beth made jewelry and jewelry boxes

here is a close up

Elliot made lamps shades and he is also a ceramic major so he made the bases as well

here is it in the dark room(we went to the photography dark room to see how the shades would look)

she made a big origami thing- that is the view of the inside (she is red because she is sick)

view of the outside

the process of her opening it

Another girl, Laura, made lamp shades(only the shades) and made the next image also

this was sturdy and if you pull it down a little it would bounce back up and would rotate with the wind

here is one of my group members Kristina with her purses

here is another of my group members Jackie with her Buddha (no religious affiliation to her and she just liked the Buddha which she found at a thrift store) the thing coming out of Buddha is a tree and Buddha is sitting in a lotus flower

Here is Ryan's contraption- suppose to hang and you look up into it (like at the dentist looking at the posters on the ceilings)

how it suppose to look like hanging (Kristina is helping holding it)

It was an interesting class and as you can tell paper can be made into just about anything and not two things will look alike.

Uhh, the photos aren't showing :(
Cool stuff! My favorites are yours in front of the window and Elliot's lamps. Makes me want to make stuff too! Maybe I'll hem my pants tonight... I guess that's not really making anything, but it's still crafty in a way.
Very nice work, thanks for posting about your paper making course, since I've heard so much about it and to finally see the results of your efforts has been great, thanks for posting both the critique and the process shots. Love.
