In the past few days I have gone to the apple store three times. Every time I decide to buy an ipod I debate if I should even submit to buying an ipod. The popularity of the device is somewhat a turn off. The quality is amazing with the touch circle and other buttons. Nothing seems to be even in its league. The pictures below are of the 3rd generation ipod nanos. Today I came to the decision that I would like one of these gadgets because I am a dork like that and find little computer electronics are fun to mess with and figure them out without the instructions books. It also uses another part of the brain and make me happy. It is weird, but whatever makes you happy, right? Anyways as my mom and I sat outside the apple store, I debated the pros and cons of the color. You are probably wondering, why is it so hard to pick a color? I don't know, it just is.

pros and cons of the silver:
if scratched it will still be a silver color
can add a color cover
blends in rather than stands out
most people have silver
pros and cons of the blue:
it is pretty
stands out
if scratched it will be silver
if i cover it up to prevent a scratch would it matter what the original color should be

I'll throw my hat into the blue camp. Reasoning: not only does it look nice, but those things are so small, it'll be easy to spot on a cluttered desk or a messy room. :)
