ceramic pitchers

here are my pitchers...certain things are different...on the face pitcher i painted it with white slip(when we bisque fire it(or first fire it), it will have a white base coat where I put it. The slip doesn't go all around it, it is like a splatter backward(kind of like a sun with beams or rays coming off of it)....next is the elephant pitcher, I mixed white and black slip together to have a gray base to it. so it is all around gray(a little darker than the clay body you see)...finally the penguin has changed a lot, that handle on there does not exist anymore because it 'crashed and burned' or you could say 'it bit the dust', so i made another one. also i added black and white slip to make it look like a penguin. It looks really cool and with glaze it is going to rock.

i might have update pictures after it has it first firing so you can see and then have other pictures after it is fired with glaze. also there will be pictures of my cups and stacked project when they are finished (only if there are really good). i just glazed them and they were loaded in a kiln yesterday night. so i am crossing my fingers that they look good. it is all an experiment.

also there is a plain pitcher(not pictured) it was last minute and i forgot to take a picture of it.

off for the weekend, going to visit a special lady in my life with a friend :) bye.
