Step 1: layout work for critique
Step 2: We the designer talk about positives and negatives with working through sketches
(the design is penciled in rectangles to represent the length and size the text would be, We had to choose drink recipes so I selected "The Real Mojito")

Step 3: Look at each person's work, talking about positive and negatives, receiving information on strength in the composition and what to work on going into the 1st draft on the computer.
Step 4: Go to work
From what is depicted, I am moving my work on the table because the teacher wanted to make sure everyone fit. In the lower pictures my work is the 2 strips closes to the bottom.
I am enjoying the work I am doing and not venting frustration everyday. The first week was a struggle to get the balancing act, but now it is all about the process, thinking outside the box, and absorbing everything.
Off to do homework.
On my last blog I stated that I was going to post images from my Basic Graphic Design class, but I decided against it at this moment in time because I am so busy. I may post it at the end of the semester. Currently I am working on a perfume, stain, cleaner about something I love - I selected Fall-time or Autumn for my Design Concepts class, Contour drawings for my Basic Illustration class, Learning the interface and projects in the book for my Vector Graphics class, and you are currently seeing my progress in my Typography class. I am going to continue to post about my school life and processes because that is what I am excited about.
