As I was walking from the Colosseum to the Ruins these maps caught my eye. They are the growth and expansion of the Roman Empire. From a dot just around Rome.
To reaching Spain and Greece.
To expanding to France and the coastal edge of Africa.
To all of the UK and over to Turkey. It was quite an impressive Empire at one time.
