The Roman city center it once was. It is sad what the state of it is now of an outline of a building and column here or there. I wish I grasped more of what things were at that time. This is the place that Julius Caesar was killed.
Lots of people visiting it with tours, just like I was. To the far left it is a arch with a square top if you walk pass that a little bit you will walk into the Colosseum.
I liked these 3 columns. The last strong ones.
Random pieces on the ground. You had to watch where you put you feet. Wonder why they were there?
There was a place that had all these statues with missing parts. It was around a reflection pool. This is area was for the Vestal Virgins.
They just recently open the area.
Walking toward the Colosseum and looking back at the ruins.
Other views, facing a street. If you looked right the Colosseum would be there in the distance.
Look left and the Colosseum would be there. I don' t know much about this place I wasn't paying attention to the tour guide at the time. At least I can do it try to associate where the Colosseum is relative to the picture.
Documentation. Check.
