Dinan

Dinan was even smaller than St. Malo. It was a nice village/town, but most was closed that Monday. The shops are mostly closed that day because, I believe, they are open all weekend. I didn't come for St.Malo or Dinan I choose this tour because of Mont St. Michel in the next post. On to Dinan.


Dinan village/town was down and up on a large hill. I walked up the hill to the top. It was nice to see the streets, but it was a work out.


At the top and a few streets later you get this incredible view.

Dinan is famous for these timbre houses. They have the most because most during the time they were built would burn or get destroyed in some fashion.
