Versailles

It came into view. No wonder Marie Antoinette was hated. I mean come on. The money and wealth spent on this place.

It did though have lovely gardens. Get here early to get in line to go inside. We, couple girls from the hostel and I, found out the hard way by going to the gardens first. The line gets extremely long. FYI for anyone else who may think about going to Versailles.

I didn't go when the fountains were going, but one was. It was lovely. Music played and the fountain danced.

From close to the Palace looking out at the gardens and boating/swimming area. My brother called me one day early for my birthday. He was afraid of missing it due to his trip plans. I talk to him on the grass way down at the end of the water on the right.

Here is another garden right next to the Palace.

I liked this garden.

Me in front of the gold gate. The other girls had to go back due to time constrant, I decided to go back on my own. I waited in now a shorter line to go inside the Palace.

Hall of Mirrors.

Amazing decorations.

Though the funny thing is on my way back I meet a couple and the woman went to Ohio University around my mom went to the University. They were lovely to talk to. The random places you meet people with similar backgrounds. These people were the second. The first was when I was getting off the train in Genoa, I believe.
